The WT symphonic band will be performing for the 12th (I think) time at TMEA this year. The performance will be Thursday February 14 at 12:30 p.M. in the Lila Crockell theater. The concert is free to the public. Program will be as follows.

Rocky Point Holiday - Ron Nelson

fugue with Drums - Norman J. Nelson (premier)

Carmen Fantasie
Lindsey Eiben - Flute soloist

Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral - Wagner

Music of the Spheres - Phillip Spark (TMEA premier)

We have worked extremely hard for the past few months to make this concert the best performance possible. I hope many of you can come and hear what WT has to offer.

Best of luck to the WT Symphonic Band!

I remember playing with the band in 1999 at TMEA and the six minutes of applause following the last note of Enigma Variations. It was one of the highlights of my musical life. By the way, Smooches, the flutist in 1996 was Lance Sanford, and that concert was one of the big reasons I went to WT. I was a senior all-stater in the audience for that concert.

Go Buffs - wish I was there to hear the band tear the house down again!!!

I'd love to. The band is going to the Spaghetti Factory after the concert as a group though. But I'll see you at the reception afterwards.
