This Thursday night (Feb 21st) 7:30PM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (65th&CPW, NYC), I'll be playing a concert of solo music for tuba, along with my friend Mae Barizo on piano. So, if you're looking for something fun to do this Thursday evening, come enjoy the show!
On the program will be a variety of music for tuba and piano, a broad selection of our favorite classical, romantic, and contemporary pieces (most of them originally composed with other instruments in mind.) So, if you are a fan of music for violin, piano, oboe, or voice, you may find something you recognize played a bit lower than usual! We do have some music originally composed for tuba, including the premiere of a brand new piece composed for us by David Loeb.
Hope to see you there!
