Brass Band Tour to CT

The Triangle Youth Brass Band under the Direction of Tony Granados, will be touring in Connecticut, USA April 4-6, 2008.

We will perform with the Hartt Tuba Euphonium Ensemble on Friday April 4th. This concert is at Avon HS near Hartford, CT and will be at 7:00 PM

The TYBB (www.trianglebrass.org) is the current, and 5 time NABBA Youth Section National Champion. The band has featured many guest artists including Jens Lindemann, Vince DiMartino, Steve Sykes, and the American Brass Quintet. The band has performed at the Great American Brass Band Festival, the Greensboro 4th of July Fireworks celebration, and with the Georgia Brass Band in Atlanta, GA.

The band is made up of brass and percussion players in grades 9-12, and pass a competitive audition process. The band rehearses one night a week, and performs 4 concerts at the Meymandi Concert hall in Raleigh, NC. Students are challenged with advanced repertoire and develop a strong sense of professionalism through participation in the band.

We hope to see you at one of our concerts in CT.
