DMA Tuba Recital in Baton Rouge

Post by tntuba »

I will be giving my first DMA solo recital next Monday at 6pm in the School of Music Recital Hall at Louisiana State University. Repertoire will include the Arild Plau concerto, the Bozza Concertino, Penn's 3 Essays for Solo Tuba, Monolog No. 9, and the Duet from "Pearl Fisher's" by Bizet (with assistance from the incomprable Danny Chapa.) If you are interested in coming and don't know how to get here, send me an email for directions.

Thanks,
Brian Gallion

Yeah, um. Just head west for 2 days. Then go north for about a week. If you have any problems call me.

What's going on man. Hey did you play that Pictures concert after all. As it turns out, I couldn't do it either (Wind Ensemble concert with Bill Conti).

hey Brian :)

Things are going well. Really busy though.

Didn't get to play that pictures gig - had a Pops concert to play and couldn't get out of it. Turns out that there was no part for me to play, so I was free to do it all along. Aint that a kick in the mowf? I heard they got Robert Nunez from LPO to play.

I'll be in town the week of May 5th, lets hang!

kick *** Monday night!

Talk soon,
K :-)

Sounds good man. Give me a call when you get in. Maybe the four of us can go to dinner or something.
