Hello Everyone

It is time to plan Fifer's Day in Boxborough again!!

Many of you participated last year in the Tuba concert (and the Tuba record attempt - sorry we did not make it!!) and I believe had a lot of fun. The overwhelming feedback we got, from both the audience and the palyers, was DO IT AGAIN! So we are!

This year, it is Boxborough's 225th Anniversary and we are planning a fun filled day including, that great attraction "The Tuba Concert".

If you are interested in joining the Tuba concert (no record attempt) for Fifer's Day, on June 21st, 2008, please let us know.

As per John Breyer, we have selected the music for the concert. It is called "Song & Dance" for Tuba Ensemble, Sing-Along and Polkas Arranged by Tucker Jolly (from FTW Publishing).

Every participant will receive a Free lunch (worth $5) and You will be able to purchase the music Book, at cost, for $5.

We are working the logistics and schedules at this time and will publish them soon. The rehearsal and concert will be at Flerra Field, we will accommodate the closest parking possible to the Tuba players so you do not have to carry your instruments very far.

Please let us know if you are going to participate so we can start putting a list together.
