My brass quintet, the Gaudete Brass, will be performing two concerts with organ this week.
One tonight, Tuesday September 9th at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI at 7:30 in the Siebert Chapel.
The other concert will be downtown Chicago at St. Chrysostom’s (1424 N. Dearborn 60610) on Friday September 12th at 7:00.
Both concerts will feature organist Richard Hoskins.
The music will include works by Strauss and Gabrieli as well as a more recent work by Carlyle Sharpe. Richard Hoskins will perform Messiaen and the quintet will play the Sonatine by Bozza.
The concerts are free and open to the public.
