Just wanted to let everyone know that Dan Sipes (Meinl Weston rep. & tuba professor) will be having a faculty recital in the Performing Arts Center at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. This is a huge deal since he hasn't performed in a solo recital for quite some time! The performance is on 10/13/2008 at 7:30pm.
Selections include works by Bozza, Vivaldi and Bruch. Special guest appearance by the Coastal Consort of Corpus Christi featuring Dr. Mary Thornton (trumpet), Dr. Matt McClung (percussion) & Mr. Michael Perez (keyboards).
