We performed at University of Kentucky last evening to an energized audience. Really nice hall! We had a couple of interesting venues (field houses, college gyms) so this was an exciting change!

Philip Johnson performed the Boehm Trumpet Concerto (Kentucky native). We are headed to Louisville today, and then Indianapolis where Matt will be performing the Sparke Tuba Concerto.

Some other pieces on the programs: Festival Variations: Smith, Toccatta and Fugue: Bach, Hunsberger, Barnes : Finale from Symphony #3, Dances from The Oprichnik: Tchaikovsky arr Bourgeois, and a new piece by Julie Giroux: Italian Rhapsody, commisioned by Arnold Gabriel.

Anyone attending Midwest this year will be able to see us then also.

Looking forward to seeing more 'netters!

WV, KY, ILL are completed. We now travel through Missouri, Kansas and Colorado to complete our Fall Tour.

I have always wanted to do a "blog", to share what life on the road is like: the interesting places, people, and venues, but never got around to it. But worry NOT! Lauren Veronie has captured all the specifics (to include the rat that is passed between the musicians!) You can check this out at:

We are enjoying the Midwest! if there are any tubenet riff raff in attendance please make sure you say hello to Dan, Matt, Scott, Chris, or Lauren.

See you then!

Hey Scott --
I certainly qualify as riff raff so my message is:
Best wishes to all of you!
