James Gourlay with Capital City Brass Band

Hello everyone,

Tubist James Gourlay will be performing with the Capital City Brass Band on Saturday, October 18th as part of Oakland University's (Rochester, MI) Festival of Brass. The concert is at 8:00 P.M. in Varner Hall. There is also a clinic at 3:00 and a masterclass at 4:00.

Repertory for the Gala Concert to include:

Tuba Concerto by Bruce Frazer
Celestial Morn for solo tuba and brass band by Leslie Condon
Mountain Song by Philip Sparke
Variations on “Laudate Dominum” by Edward Gregson
It’s Alright With Me by Cole Porter
Pines of the Appian Way from The Pines of Rome by Ottorino Respighi
and other selections
