New Sousa Band Concert

For those interested:
The New Sousa Band, conducted by Sousa impersonator and all around nice guy Keith Brion, will be performing a concert this weekend at Pensacola Christian College. The concert will occur on Saturday, October 2nd at 8:00pm in the Crowne Auditorium, on the campus of Pensacola Christian College. Just so you know, the college sustained only minor damage from hurricane Jeanne. There will be soloists (Allan Dean, cornet; Diane Powers, piccolo; Lee Merrill, soprano) and a lively program of traditional band music. I don't know the specifics regarding tickets so please, check with Pensacola Christian College for further details if you plan to attend.
Tuba content: Right now, it looks like the tuba section will be myself, Doug Tornquist, and David Zerkel. The euphs, as always, are Gail Robertson and the legendary Earle Louder.
