MEMPHIS BRASS FESTIVAL w/ guest artists from the MET

The University of Memphis will be hosting the Memphis Brass Festival this summer - July 12-17. The Brass Festival is open to students ages 16-23.
Artists include:
*Billy Hunter; co-principal trumpet of the Metropolitan Opera Orch.
*Weston Sprott; second trombone of the Metropolitan Opera Orch.
*Memphis Brass Quintet

The Memphis Brass Festival is a week-long experience designed exclusively for advanced high school and college undergraduate students (ages 16-23). Fifty of the finest trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, and tuba players will be selected by resume and letter of recommendation to participate in daily masterclasses, private lessons, chamber groups, brass choirs, and concerts.
