Those of you at the convention or in the Austin area in general...the Oklahoma State University Wind Ensemble will perform Wednesday night, March 25, at 8pm in the Bates Recital Hall. The group is playing my newest piece entitled "La Pequeña Habana"...a fast ride intended to evoke a day in the life of Miami's "Little Havana" district. The rest of the program is delightful, and the group is absolutely fantastic.
