Hello, All,
I will be giving the final recital of my Doctor of Musical Arts degree program on Tuesday, May 5th at 7 PM. It will be held at Reformation Lutheran Church (across the parking lot from the Eastman School of Music) 111 N. Chestnut St., Rochester, NY

The program will consist of all-new works, composed for me, most of which will be world premieres:

Song and Dance for tuba and piano by Ken Kruezer
3 Studies in American Folk Song for tuba and piano by Andrew Van Devender
Concerto for Orchestra and Tuba by Doug Spata (w/piano)

INTERMISSION

Racecar for Tuba and Harp by Megan Bledsoe
Or for Solo Tuba by Scott Worthington
Sonatina for Piano and Tuba by Doug Spata (premiered at SERTEC 2005)
Four Duets by Doug Spata
T. J.'s Tune for Tuba and Jazz Combo by Nate Reit

Please spread the word. I'd love to see a few Tubenetters! This recital will be the basis for my (hopefully, pending funds) upcoming solo album.

be well,
T. J.

Just a quick bump for my recital. This Tuesday, May 5 at 7 PM. Reformation Lutheran Church, 111 N. Chestnut St, Rochester, NY.

This is the last step for me before the comprehensive exams. Then I'm Dr. T. and I'll pity the foo' who don't play the tuba.

be well, hope to see you all out there,
