I'll be giving a substantial euphonium recital consisting of:

-Many solo euphonium works
-A flute/euphonium duet
-The award-winning Acatuba Quartet
-TWO WORLD PREMIERS
-TWO AMERICAN PREMIERS

The recital will consist of various classical and contemporary solos for euphonium differing in style and mood. The brilliance of the euphonium as a solo instrument will be represented through the performances of brand new works in conjunction with standard classical pieces. The euphonium solo piece "Pastorale" was written for me by Barton Cummings and will be premiered for the first time. The euphonium solo "Too Little Time" will be performed for the first time in the United States. The interesting flute/euphonium duet "Penelope's Theme" will also be played for the first time in the United States.

The recital will also feature the award-winning Acatuba Quartet. The Acatuba quartet performs standard classical pieces alongside innovative and original works. The Acatuba quartet showcases a vast variety of stylistic music to articulate the true ability of the tuba-euphonium quartet as an art form. The piece "Purple" by Robin Langdon will be premiered by the quartet.
