Civil War bands at Gettysburg

Both these bands use period instruments...
Gettysburg Brass Band Festival
Date: June 20, 2009
Time: 11:00 AM to sunset
Location: Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center

Band music of the Civil War comes to Gettysburg! The Regimental Band of the 8th Georgia Volunteer Infantry from Rome, Georgia, will present a concert of Civil War band music at the National Park Service Museum and Visitor Center, 1195 Baltimore Pike, at 11:00 AM. The Wildcat Regimental Band will follow with their concert at 3:00 PM, also at the Museum and Visitor Center. The 8th Georgia Band will play an additional concert at the Pennsylvania Monument, Auto Tour Stop No. 12, that evening from 6:00 PM to sunset. These concerts are free of charge and are part of the Greater Gettysburg Brass Band Festival, an all day event held in Gettysburg. Program schedules for the Festival are available at the park information desk in the Museum and Visitor Center.
My wife and I hope to spend all day there ( and she's a wire player!).
