Oktubafest at Illinois State

Greetings all:

The Illinois State University Tuba/Euphonium Studio will be performing in three events over the Halloween Weekend. We hope you can join us for any of it:

Friday, Oct. 29, 2004: Oktubafest I, Studio Recital. 8 PM, Kemp Recital hall in Normal, Illinois. (Free Concert).

Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004: Oktubafest II, Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble. 3 PM in the Center for the Performing Arts (Free Concert).

...this unique program will include premiers of student compositions based on visual art in our ISU Campus Gallery's. This work "GalleryWalk 2004" will better to unite the arts on campus and provide a multimedia slide show event during the performance. The select ISU Octet will also perform Tchaik.'s 2nd Mvt. from his 5th Symphony and Neal Corwell's Furies.

Sunday, October 31st: BRASS BASH! 8 PM, Kemp recital hall. Join ISU Brass Chamber ensembles in dressing up for this zany concert favorite. Outrageous music, outlandish costumes and a keg on stage are just some of the expectations!
