Below are all the programs that will be performed as part of the 12th annual Octubafest at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. Hope to see some of you there! All performances are free and in Room 115 of the LSU School of Music unless otherwise noted.

Perfmances include: Triumph of the Demon Gods(Stevens), Horn Concerto in Eb (Strauss), Heironymous (Burghadrt), Euphonium Concerto (Horovitz), Rhapsody (Curnow), Ricercar (Gabrieli) and more!

Danny Walley - Junior Tuba Recital
Wilhelm Concertino, Penderecki Capriccio, Schumann Fantasiestucke, Aritiunian Armenian Scenes

Oct. 29 - 6PM
Studio Soloists Continued and Brett White Graduate Euphonium Split Recital
Brett's Repertoire: Arioso Gloria (York), Blue Lake Fantasies (Gillinghim), Concerto (Wilby)

Andy Larson - Doctorate Tuba Recital
Schumann Fantasiestucke, Gorecki Aria, Casterede Fantasie Concertante, Finger Sonata in d minor, Carnival of Venice

Nov. 2 - 6PM
Brian Gallion - DMA Lecture Recital
Brian composed original music to accompany 4 paintings: Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. He will take us thru from conceptualization to realization and performance of these four pieces of music.

LSU Tuba/Euph Ensemble - The Eagle Thunders, Requiem for a Dead Cat, Samba de Mogan, Trois Chansons, Earle of Exford's March

Nov. 3 - 6PM
Brian Gallion/Dr. Joseph Skillen Duo Recital
Repertoire includesa new tuba duet by LSU Percussion Professor Dr. Brett Dietz, Wonderland Duets, March of Two Tubas, Suru-Tuba, and much more!

Nov. 3 - 8PM
Seth Orgel - Faculty Horn Recital f. LSU Faculty Brass Ensemble
repertoire by Nelhybel, Bitsch, Boden de Boismortier, Burrit, and Ives
