Graduate Tuba Recital at University of Illinois

Post by DaTubaKid »

I would like to invite anyone who is interested to attend my first recital as a graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The details are as follows:

Saturday, November 14th at 5:00pm
Music Building, 1114 Nevada Ave, Urbana, IL
Music Building Auditorium, Room 2100

Program:
Halsey Stevens: Sonatina
Franz Strauss: Nocturno
Rolf Wilhelm: Concertino

Free admission!

This recital is not part of my degree requirement. The purpose of this recital is to help me prepare for both the Falcone Festival and ITEC solo competition prelims, which I hope to sent in tapes for. The recital will be done without intermission, so it should last just under 40 minutes.

I am really looking forward to this performance, and I hope those who are interested can make it out for the event!

BUMP for my recital tomorrow!

Going to be a lot of fun, and I am really looking forward to it. I hope some of you can make it. Feel free to stop by backstage afterwards and say "hi" if you do!
