This coming Sunday, February 7th at 3pm (yes, I know it's Super Bowl Sunday... i wasn't in charge of the date!!!
) in Westbrook Auditorium, Josh Biere and myself will be giving a recital at Illinois Wesleyan University. Works will include:Ewazen's Concerto for Tuba (or Bass Trombone)
Lamento by Sofia Gubaidulina
Sonata for Cello by Rachmaninoff
Let There Be Funk by D. Edward Davis
Double Violin Concerto by Bach
As well as a joint performance with the IWU Tuba Ensemble
The concert is free, so all our welcomed and encouraged to attend! We'd love to see as many tubenetters from the area as possible. Plus, we'll be going out afterward to fulfill our needs of beer, wings, and football!
