Hello, All,

I will be performing a solo recital at Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA this coming Monday, February 15th at 7:30 PM accompanied by Dr. Todd Ranney, piano. The show will take place in Steadman Theater, a part of the Butler Music Center on Mansfield's campus.

The program has a loose theme of "Where we've been and where we're going" and will include a couple of my new commissions, a few old-school tuba solos, and a 21st century concerto. It should be a lot of fun.

This performance is hosted by Dr. Nate Rinnert of Mansfield University (who sometimes posts here as "Three Dog Nate")

I'd love to see/meet a few fellow tubenetters at this beautiful campus in the hills of Pennsylvania!

the show is tonight and there will be a masterclass tomorrow at noon on where to begin with improvisation.

A GREAT recital last night. T.J. played the York concerto wonderfully! He also programmed some very interesting newer pieces that he had commissioned himself - contact T.J. himself if your looking for some new repertoire.

T.J.'s booming voice was perfect for his rendition of Bill Bell's "Tuba Man"!

Looking forward to the masterclass at noon today.
