Does anyone know where the ITEC in 2012 will be???
Cool. I like it when "international" things are actually international. Out of North America would be even cooler.jdsalas wrote:Rumor mill is that it will be outside the US.
you obviously haven't been to ANY such conferences in the last decade. The ONLY tune used to close such events is a waddling version of "Them Basses". Rolling Thunder......geez....that's SO last century!the elephant wrote: local "banda" sousaphonists playing "Rolling Thunder,"
So, The Elephant is also discretely letting the Tubenet crowd know that this could be one of the cheapest “international” gatherings yet as only a one-way ticket is required. Book now!the elephant wrote:ITEC 2012 will be held in the Yucatan Peninsula, hosted by Weril of Brazil. Event coordinators will be Mayan priests who will usher in the official resetting of the Mayan Long Count calandar to 00:00:00. As the world ends in flames and explosions the conference will conclude with an ensemble of participants and local "banda" sousaphonists playing "Rolling Thunder," followed by a special arrangement of the overture to "La Forza del Destino," at which point all life on the planet will cease.
You're scaring me. You aren't really serious? Are you?the elephant wrote:ITEC 2012 will be held in the Yucatan Peninsula, hosted by Weril of Brazil.
