The Machine Project, a Los Angeles-based arts group, has commissioned close to 100 composers from all over the world to write miniature duos for four ensembles of like instruments: violins, clarinets, accordions, and tubas. The pieces are under two minutes in length and will be performed one at a time for an audience of one or two in the "Little William Theater" at UCLA's Hammer Museum.

The first performance from us will be August 28th. We would love to see a TubeNetter or two pop in.

Performers:
Luke Storm and Doug Tornquist, tuba
Brian Walsh and Jim Sullivan, clarinet
Andrew McIntosh and Andrew Tholl, violin
Daniel Corral and Isaac Schankler, accordion
