Dear Friends,

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's performance of Mahler's Symphony #5 in the Berlin Philharmonie on Sunday September 11 will be the first time a visiting orchestra is presented on the Berlin Philharmonic's Digital Concert Hall (HD video), live on the web. Unlike the Berlin Philharmonic concerts, this PSO webcast can be viewed at no cost. Viewers in the US can access the concert, at approximately 2:45 Eastern at:
http://www.pittsburghsymphony.org/pghsy ... erlin.html

Those in Europe and Asia can access it at approximately 20:45 Berlin time at:
http://liveweb.arte.tv/de/video/PSO_Mahler/

The video stream will later be archived on the American Public Media website, beginning September 12:
http://americanpublicmedia.publicradio.org/classical/

In the meantime, our performance of the Mahler at the BBC Proms Festival in Royal Albert Hall earlier this week can be heard now on the BBC3 website for 4 more days:

Hope you may find this of interest!

Best,

Craig Knox
