Octubafest at LSU

Just wanted to let you know what we have going on at LSU in Baton Rouge for our Octubafest celebration this year. I hope you can attend some or all of the events!

October 21 5:30 - Student Solo Recital featuring works by: Cosma, Persichetti, Arnold, Hindemith, and Broughton.
October 21 7:30 - MM Chasse Duplantis Euphonium featuring works by Turrin, Stevens, and Casterede followed by the LSU Tuba Ensemble playing works by Byrd, Gates, Sousa, and Grieg.

October 25 5:30 - Patrick Melvin (BM Tuba) and Chris Gongora (MM Euphonium) split recital, Program TBA
October 25 7:30 - Dr. Joseph Skillen PIANOLESS Recital featuring works by: Brett William Dietz, Armand Russell, Henri Tomasi, Gerhard Samuel, David Stock, Brian Balmages, and John Stevens. (Featuring countless collaborators in these chamber works)

November 2 4:00 - Brad Boone, US Army, Euphonium Recital, Program TBA
November 2 5:30 - Andy Larson, DMA Tuba Recital (see other post for that program)
November 2 7:30 - Dr. Ben Miles, Wright State University, Guest Artist Tuba Recital - Program TBA
