Gato Loco will be in Europe for a number of dates this fall, starting this coming weekend.

This coming Sunday, October 16, we are headlining the "Jazz and the City" festival in Salzburg, Austria.

Gato Loco is known as a "psycho-mambo" band from New York City (we didn't come up with that, someone else did) it's sort of salsa meets arena rock... but with fugues, brass chorales, and cumbias. The festivals say "jazz" but it's not. It's often as rock as it gets. ...the tuba part is sometimes orchestral in nature, sometimes jazz-like, sometimes funk, sometimes a lead soloist, sometimes as a bass... it depends on the song. And my mood.
