The Legacy of Harvey Phillips: Lecture Recital 12/1

Michael Salzman, Professor of tuba and euphonium at Hofstra University, will be giving a lecture recital on Thursday, December 1 at 9:00 pm at the Eastman School of Music. The lecture will take place in Room A902.
Professor Salzman will offer some insight into his 35 year relationship with one of the most important instrumentalists of our time. Performances will include works which represent important aspects of Mr. Phillips’ teaching and philosophy by composers Bach, Wilder, Persichetti, Sondheim, and the premiere of “Home Again” by Thomas Davis.
