I welcome you to attend @ 8PM January 23rd
http://www.carnegiehall.org/Calendar/20 ... l-Concert/ in Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall. This is a memorial concert for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan last March. The second half of the program with be the Mozart Requiem with a huge choir from Japan. The program will consist of:
Wagner - Die Meistersinger
Sibelius - Finlandia
Mozart - Requiem K626

Very cool, Ben!! I'll see it I can make it!
I went to a couple of the JapanNYC events last year, and was really impressed by the Japanese musicians! Is this a NY orchestra, or a mixed NY/Japan group?

Honestly I don't know if it is a mixed group or not. I won't know until we rehearse with them the day before. I will be having fun regardless.

It was fun playing in that hall, its very fun to hear how that concert turned out!
