Eligibility: Students currently (Spring 2012) in grades 9-12

Fee: $60 cash, check, or money order made payable to The Flythe Group, Inc.

Application Deadline: Please bring application form and payment to first attended rehearsal.

Schedule: Due to other commitments such as spring band concerts, athletic events, graduation exercises, etc., students will have the option to attend the minimum required rehearsals scheduled on dates convenient for them. Students who live in the counties of Bartow, Cherokee, and Cobb are required to attend at least eight of the 13 rehearsals scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday. Students who live in metro Atlanta are required to attend at least five of the eight rehearsals scheduled on Friday. The Sunday dress rehearsal is mandatory attendance for participation on the concert.

Rehearsals/Concert: All rehearsals will be held at Pope High School for students who live in Bartow, Cherokee and Cobb counties and at Lakeside High School for students who live in metro Atlanta. The dress rehearsal and the concert will be held at Lakeside High School. The Metro Atlanta Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble will share a joint concert on Sunday, May 20th with the Atlanta Trumpet Ensemble under the direction of Bernard H. Flythe and Kay Fairchild, respectively.
