This Friday, 4/13: David McLemore - Wilhelm, Concertino

Hello all,

I know this is a little bit last minute, but for those in the Athens or Atlanta area, I will be a featured soloist on the UGA Wind Ensemble's final concert this Friday, April 13th, at 8PM in Hodgson Hall on the UGA campus. I won the Wind Ensemble concerto competition earlier in the year, and will be performing Rolf Wilhelm's Concertino for Tuba and Wind Instruments. Also on the program will be Corigliano's Circus Maximus, which is an interesting work to say the least.

Full disclosure, the cost of admission is $10; I don't understand why the music school/Performing Arts center charges for student concerts, seems counterproductive to me. Unfortunately there probably won't be a live stream, but for those Tubenetters in or around Atlanta, feel free to come out and hear some great music.
