Hi Everyone,

I'll be giving a performance of Bernhard Heiden's Variations for Solo Tuba and Nine Horns with the Baylor Horn Ensemble this Sunday, November 4th at 4:00pm at Baylor University (Meadows Recital Hall). Heiden wrote this 13-minute compostition in 1974 in memory of John Barrows, and Harvey Phillips premiered it the next year in Carnegie Hall. He also recorded it on Golden Crest's "Trubite to a Friend." We've had a lot of fun putting it together, and it's certainly not a piece you hear every day!
