DMA Recital #2 - David McLemore

Hello Tubenet,
I'm pleased to announce I will be performing my second Doctoral Recital next week, on Monday November 12th at 6:30PM in Edge Recital Hall at the UGA Hodgson School of Music. The name of the recital is "Evening Music for a Funky Jabberwock", an amalgamation of the names of several pieces I am performing. As the name implies, this recital will feature a wide range of musical selections, including:
Music for Two Big instruments - Alex Shapiro
An Evening Hymn - Henry Purcell
Sonatina for Tuba and Piano, Op. 57 - Jan Koetsier
Studies in English Folksong - Ralph Vaughan Williams

Let There Be Funk, for tuba and digital playback - Eddie Davis
Jabberwocky - David Gillingham
In the 90% (Sturgeon's Law) - Jay Rozen
For those of you in or near Georgia, I invite you to come see this performance next Monday if you are free and available. It should be a good show!
