Triton Brass @ Tanglewood 2005
I am very pleased to announce that the Triton Brass Quintet www.tritonbrass.org will be Artists-in-Residence at Tanglewood this summer, and faculty for the Boston University Tanglewood Institute's (BUTI) Wind Ensemble & Chamber Music programs. We are extremely excited to take over this program and bring it back to the it's success during the original Empire Brass days. All info at http://www.bu.edu/cfa/music/tanglewood/index.htm. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions.

Hey,
I had the honor to work with triton brass at the atlantic brass seminar this past summer. What a phenomenal group! I believe they are all masters graduates of nec, and they are phenomenal players, and inspiring and gifted teachers. I would encourage any high school player to strongly consider the program at tanglewood. The wind ensemble, conducted by david martins, is an amazing group that performs some of the hardest wind literature written. And you would be around triton brass and the bso for the summer.
