One of my students, Mitch Bernier won the concerto competition at UCONN in Storrs and he's playing the entire Vaughan Williams tuba concerto with the University Orchestra tonight 12/6/12 at 7:30 p.m. at Von der Mehden Hall on the Storrs campus. It's rare to be able to here this live with an orchestra so if you're in the area tonight please stop by. You won't be disappointed.
