Performance class at Seattle Pacific tomorrow (3/14)

Dear Friends,
A little over a month ago a former student’s mother approached me about forming a quartet to compete at the NW ITEC conference in Pullman next weekend. We went ahead and put a group together with two of my current University of Puget Sound students and two Alumni of my private studio. One of my former students, Andy, just returned from winning the national MTNA Senior Brass competition; kudos to Andy and his teacher Chris Olka.
The group will be visiting Seattle Pacific University tomorrow night at 8PM (Thursday, March 14) for a performance class in Crawford Hall 211. http://spu.edu/info/maps/index.asp" target="_blank The class is free and open to the public. If you live west of the cascades, and like me, you aren’t going to be able to make it to Pullman, this a great opportunity to hear two of the nations finest high school tuba players closer to home.
I joined the SPU faculty this fall. “Seattle Pacific University seeks to be a premier Christian University fully committed to engaging the culture and changing the world by graduating people of competence and character, becoming people of wisdom, and modeling grace-filled community.”

I hope you can join us. Please do forward this to anyone you think might be interested.
