Dear Friends,

I'd like to announce we have TWO Miraphone Academy sites this year--the original at UNCGreensboro, Dennis AsKew host, and the new Miraphone Academy of the West, hosted by Miraphone Artist Deanna Swoboda at Arizona State University.

These 3 day intensive workshops are open to amateur enthusiasts, advance high school performers and collegiate aged performers. During the Academy you will be placed into chamber groups, receive duo lessons (two performers in one session), coached in the chamber groups, have large group masterclasses and clinics, hear faculty performances, and perform as part of a final concert.
The cost is quite reasonable, with full information on both sessions found at http://www.miraphoneacademy.de" target="_blank

Each session has a limit of 24 participants, and last year we filled up within 3 weeks of the announcement--don't miss out!

Please help spread the word!

Wow!!! Response has been great--less than two weeks after we officially opened registration, we are well over 1/2 full for the session in Greensboro, NC. Only 8 slots left!

Please help spread the word, as spaces are filling rapidly.

all best,
Dennis

Bump for the remaining 2 tuba slots and 3 euph slots for the session in Greensboro.

Quite a few openings still for the session in Arizona. (about 1/2 full currently, but need euphoniums, in particular)

Over the years I've had the good fortune to participate in many of these academies at UNCG and I have always been very glad I was there. Dennis runs a great event, the instructors are top notch, the facility is superb, there is a nice variety of offerings and the pace is just right. We learn a lot, have a great time, and come away all charged up. It's a tremendous bargain and I highly recommend it.

we still have a few openings if anyone would like to join us next weekend. Ben Pierce, Deanna Swoboda as featured clinicians/performers!

As Jack Denniston can attest....

all best,
dwaskew
