This concert was originally scheduled last fall, but was postponed due to superstorm Sandy.

I already have tickets to see this. Very excited. If you don't have ticks, you should get some. I think it is going to be great.

This concert will include a 40 part motet by Thomas Tallis, orchestrated in 8 antiphonal quintets.

Jim Ross (of the Met) posted at TrumpetHerald that 4 additional tubas have been added, bringing the total to 44 brass instrumentalists.
