This year's Pokorny Low Brass Seminar has some exciting additions. Although the performer's have been chosen, there is no limit on the number of daily or weekly auditors. Auditors get to play in the group warm-ups and the large ensemble in the afternoon.

New this year:

The Northwestern University Faculty Trombone Quartet - 4, consisting of Michael Mulcahy, TIm Higgins, Pete Ellefson and Randy Hawes will give a recital on Monday July 8 at 1 pm.

Jeff Reynolds, LA PHil bass trombonist, (ret) and San Francisco Symphony principal trombonist, Tim Higgins will be joining us for the week.

Faculty Recitals include:

Monday, July 8 at 7 pm - Gene Pokorny, tuba
Tuesday, July 9 at 7 pm - Randall Hawes, bass trombone
Wednesday, July 10 at 7 pm - Michael Mulcahy, trombone
Thursday, July 11 at 7 pm - Tim Higgins, trombone
Friday, July 12 at 7 pm - Faculty Low Brass Ensemble with Gene Pokorny, Michael Mulcahy, Randy Hawes, Tim Higgins, Andrew Glendening, Jeff Reynolds, Sean Reusch and Scott Sutherland plus the mighty Casavant Organ.
