University of Washington BRASS DAY, 11/16

Hey guys and gals, see below:

The University of Washington School of Music is pleased to announce it's first annual BRASS DAY, Saturday, November 16th, 8:00 AM-5:00PM at the School of Music building.

All events during BRASS DAY are free and open to the public and will include group warm-ups, individual and combined instrument masterclasses, as well as performances by UW Brass Department faculty and the UW Brass Ensemble.

While the target audience is middle and high school brass players, players of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend and bring their instruments!

8-8:45 AM, Registration in Fishbowl
9-10:15 AM, Group Warmup classes divided by instrument, rooms TBD
10:30-12 PM, Combined Brass Masterclass in Brechmin Auditorium
12-1:15 PM, Lunch
1:30-2:30 PM, UW Brass Faculty Recital in Brechmin Auditorium
2:45-4 PM, Individual Brass Masterclass by instrument, rooms TBD
4:15-5-:5:15 PM, Brass Ensemble Group Reading Session, Room 35

Brass players performing for the masterclasses will be selected from middle and high school aged attendees and will be arranged prior to BRASS DAY.
