2014 Atlanta Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble

The Atlanta Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble (ATE2) was created in April 2007 to provide an additional performance outlet for middle and high school low brass students throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area. This ensemble prepares diverse musical compositions and will perform a concert on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Kennesaw State University. Current tuba and euphonium students in grades 9-12 are eligible to perform in this outstanding ensemble. The group includes participants who have been selected to the GMEA All-State and Honor Bands.

Eligibility: Students currently (Spring 2014) in grades 9-12

Fee: $60 cash, check, or money order made payable to The Flythe Group, Inc.

Application Deadline: Please bring application form and payment to first attended rehearsal.

Schedule: Due to other commitments such as spring band concerts, athletic events, graduation exercises, etc., students will have the option to attend the minimum required rehearsals scheduled on dates convenient for them. Students are required to attend at least seven of the 12 rehearsals scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday. Attendance at the Sunday dress rehearsal is mandatory for participation in the concert.

Rehearsals/Concert: All rehearsals will be held at Pope High School. The dress rehearsal and the concert will be held at Kennesaw State University on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
