I'm not usually one for self promotion, but I thought some of you might be interested in this. I am playing with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and their fabulous conductor Paavo Jarvi on their North American tour this week . The program is all Brahms, with tuba in the Second Symphony and Academic Festival Overture.
We have shows in Lanaudiere Quebec, then the Ravinia Festival in Chicago, Tanglewood and Mostly Mozart at Lincoln Centre in NYC (see links below).

This is truly one of the finest orchestras I have ever heard, with an incredibly expressive and chamber music approach to symphonic music. In these great concert venues, I highly recommend it to anyone who can come out.

Thanks,
Sasha Johnson

Enjoy! Wish I could hear it. Paavo is one of the unsung heroes in the orchestral world right now. He's not young and sexy like the current cadre of "youngsters" but he's a great musician and a surgeon with the baton. I'll bet the orchestra responds well to him!
