An album to buy/download in support of the Arthur Blythe Parkinson's fund:

Bob Stewart plays on this one (2003).
As an aside...
Stewart also plays on Blythe's Lenox Avenue Breakdown (1979), which is a beautiful album. According to Cook and Morton (Penguin Guide to Jazz), "[Bob] Stewart's long tuba solo on the title-piece is one of the few genuinely important tuba statements in jazz, a nimble sermon that promises storms and sunshine." I'm not sure that's quite the case, but it's certainly one of my favorites.
