Faculty Artist Series: Phil Black, Tuba

Live in the Wichita, Kansas area and have nothing to do on Tuesday, Oct. 21? Well, you could come watch WSU's amazing tuba professor Phil Black's tuba recital at 7:30 P.M. It will be at Wiedemann Recital Hall at WSU. The box office will open one hour early, so that you may get tickets. The tickets will cost $7.
Musical selections played will be: A Gypsy Tuba Player in New Orleans, Keith Terrett ; Sonata No. 2, Cherubini arr. Mike Forbes ; Suite for Tuba "3 contrasting Moods", Robert Calkins ; Regions for tuba & percussion, Andy Francis ; Suite No.1 for tuba and woodwind quintet, Ken Friedrich.
All of this is just what I have been told by Mr. Black.
