Greetings, Low Brass Players and Teachers,
Here are the details, for our 2014 TubaChristmas rehearsal and concert:
DATE: Sunday, December 14th
REGISTRATION and REHEARSAL: 5:30 PM, CST, University of Evansville band room, Krannert Fine Arts Building, on Rotherwood Ave. between Walnut St. and Lincoln Ave.
PERFORMANCE: 7:00 pm, Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 624 S. Green River Rd. @ Lincoln Ave.
CONDUCTOR: Dr. Kenneth Steinsultz, DMA, Director of Bands and Low Brass Instructor at the University of Evansville
ATTIRE: Something festive, reflecting colors of the season
WHAT TO BRING: 1) A strong embouchure. The arrangements do not contain many measures of rest.
2) TubaChristmas books, from prior years.
3) Any type of music stand; chairs will be provided.
COSTS INVOLVED: These are kept as minimal, as possible, with all monies going to the Harvey Phillips Foundation. Registration (which includes a 2014 button) is $3. Large print music books, in either bass or treble clef, are $10.
