This year's Brass Blast at Kennesaw State University School of Music is gonna be awesome! There will be masterclass sessions with each of our amazing KSU faculty as well as chances to meet and play with some of your brass playing buddies from the region. There are LOTS of different activities planned, AND you can even audition on this day if you'd like! Top it all off with a great collaborative concert with the Georgia Brass Band and you have a really fun-filled day of music making!

8:15 AM – Registration opens

9:00 AM – Faculty Concert, Introductions, & KSU recruitment video

9:45 AM – Ice Breakers, Warm up, & Rehearsal
- Trumpets in Morgan
- Trombones in the Lobby
- Tubas and Euphoniums in Brooker
- Horns in 2080

- move to Morgan at 11:25AM-

11:30 AM – LUNCH / Exhibits with Rich Ita / AUDITIONS

12:30 PM – Masterclass with Rich Ita (History of Brass) / AUDITIONS

1:00 PM – Spectacle Brass concert / AUDITIONS

1:30 PM –Rehearsal
- Trumpets in Morgan
- Trombones in the Lobby
- Tubas and Euphoniums in Brooker
- Horns in 2080

2:30 BRASS BAND ARRIVES

3:15PM – Move to Morgan for group rehearsal with Georgia Brass Band

3:40 PM – Move to Brooker to receive t-shirt and to get pictures

4:00PM – Concert – individual pieces, GBB, and end with collaboration

5:00PM – Go HOME!
