Interlochen Arts Academy Tuba Openings, 2015-2016

The Interlochen Arts Academy High School Low Brass studio, taught by Tom Riccobono, will have 2-3 tuba openings and about 6 trombone openings this year.

The application can take a while, and there are transcripts and letters of recommendation to complete. You will not receive an offer of financial assistance until the entire application is complete and you are accepted. Interlochen is an amazing place. You would play in an amazing band and orchestra, chamber music, and have weekly lessons and studio classes. Although the tuition cost can be formidable, be assured that there is significant financial aid that is available. As unexpected as the cost is for high school, the benefits far outweigh the costs. An Interlochen diploma carries as much importance as an ivy league school and opens a vast network of professionals throughout the world. Our students receive far more financial aid for college than they normally would have if they stayed at their old high school. Many of the students are attending top conservatories and universities, often tuition free. One of the biggest parts of Mr. Riccobono's job is helping students get to their next station in life, choosing a college, pairing with the best teacher, and launching their career. He has sent students to all the major music schools, but just as many to great academic institutions.
