Dr. Stephen Shoop will perform The Happy Farmer with the Mesquite (Texas) Community Band on Monday, June 22, 2015, at 7:00 P.M. This historic arrangement is by Paul Lavalle and is the same version performed by Bill Bell and Paul Lavelle's Band of America. The concert will take place at the Mesquite Arts Center, 1527 N. Galloway Rd., Mesquite, Texas, 75149. The concert is part of the band's Music in the Park series. The concert might be performed outside, or indoors, depending upon prevailing weather conditions. The concert is free-of-charge and open to the public.

I wish I lived anywhere even remotely close! What tuba will you be using?

I will be playing the solo on my Mirafone 186. I have been alternating between the 186 and 188 when playing in the band.
