TubaChristmas Kansas City - December 4 & 7 - UPDATE
Posted: Thu Sep 17, 2015 11:03 am
We are pleased to invite one and all to the 2015 performances of TubaChristmas in Kansas City. This is one of the largest and best TubaChristmas events in the nation, with last year a total of 701 PERFORMERS on stage over the two performances. We expect another capacity crowd for this year's events. In fact, the Friday December 4th event is virtually sold out for both performers and audience. Please plan to join us on Monday December 7th at Noon for the performance. (Registration for performers begins at 9:30 a.m. and rehearsal at 10:30 a.m.)
TubaChristmas Kansas City is held in Helzberg Hall at the magnificent Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and is sponsored by the Kansas City Symphony. Complete information about participation as a performer and to attend in the audience can be found here: https://www.kcsymphony.org/StaticCtl/TubaChristmasAct
Again this year we are delighted to welcome Prof. Scott Watson, distinguished tuba professor from the University of Kansas, to be our conductor. TubaChristmas merchandise will be available for sale in the lobby beforehand and after the concerts. We hope to see you there!
