Don Harry visits BGSU

Post by Tim Olt »

Greetings all,

This is a late notice on my part, but Don Harry (tuba prof from Eastman) will be visiting Bowling Green State University (Ohio) on Monday, March 21, 2005. There will be a masterclass at 4:30pm in room 1002 that is open to the public, and he will also be performing a few selections on the Tuba/Euphonium Studio Recital that evening at 8:00pm in Bryan Recital Hall. Both events take place in the Moore Musical Arts Center and are free and open to the public. For more information please contact me at TubaMan246@aol.com or (419) 372-2097.

Greetings all,

I wanted to publicly thank Mr. Don Harry for all his work with our studio. His masterclass was very informative, and he was wonderful with the students in all aspects. In addition, he performed the 5th Unaccompanied Cello Suite by Bach on the spur of the moment at the studio recital, and then played trios with Ivan Hammond, Sam Gnagey and myself rotating the other chairs. I would highly recommend bringing him in if you have the chance!

Many thanks Don!!!!!
