A new opportunity for Tubists and Euphoniumists...

Cleveland State University will be hosting the first annual Cleveland Tuba-Euphonium Day on Saturday, May 7, 2016. As we are close to so many major cities, conservatories and schools of music, we've launched an annual event to bring community and collegiate musicians together to celebrate, educate and entertain our fellow players. Featuring exhibitors, a warm-up session, masterclass, recitals, tuba museum, group reading session, and a final concert featuring local professionals and the NEOTuba quartet, it will be an event to remember. The Viking Viking Tuba-Euphonium Consort (VTEC) will make its debut. Mark your calendars now!

If you would like to exhibit, I'm probably going to contact you soon ;) , but feel free to PM me. If you'd like to attend, there will be prepaid parking available, and pizza at intermission. If you'd like your historic instrument included in the museum, you can also contact me.

This is planned as an annual event. Yasuhito Sugiyama (Cleveland Orchestra) will be presenting, and it'll no-doubt make the trip worthwhile. If you'd like your ensemble to perform, contact me soon... I'm already getting many requests to perform!

Updates will be posted here as they occur; I'm looking forward to seeing you there!

J.c. put on an outstanding event. Great players, and the event even had a free lunch. If he adds free beer, It would give the army conference a run for its money.
