Steven Mead performance in Tacoma on Saturday

My dear friends:
Today, I had the absolute pleasure of spending a day with Mr. Steven Mead. As those of us who have listened to his recordings and watch his videos know, he is a very special musician. His class at the University of Puget Sound was amazing. I was fortunate enough to be very near his bell today and I have to tell you, that the live experience of hearing him is something I feel you must experience.
If you live in the Western U.S., he will be performing live with Tacoma Concert Band on Saturday. TCB is a fine band and Maestro Robert Musser has done a great job working with this ensemble. I strongly feel like you really need to hear Steve live.
It sounds like Mr. Mead will be in the area again next year. It is my sincere hope that this will be the beginning of something very special for the Northwestern U.S./Puget Sound region.
